Scientifically, it was proven, that a baby starts learning while still inside the mother’s womb. Most pediatricians recommend that parents should start “talking” to their unborn child, since the baby’s young brain develops and easily picks up every stimulus that is feed into it. Some mothers would even start reading to their yet unborn child, as it was proven that this, too, can help enhance the baby’s language development, as well as his cognitive ability. One thing I love to do is read and write with my daughter on a daily basis in order to help her with her 1st grade spelling, writing and reading. This is always a great idea for any parent.
When we work with our children, and invest valuable time with them, we expand their learning abilities and initiative, because they understand that we are as interested as they are. This pushes a child to do better, initially to impress us, but later to feel good about himself.
